INCREASE IN MATURING CAPACITY, UP TO A TOTAL VOLUME OF 114,000 LITERS.

8 tanks of 12,000 liters and 6 tanks of 3,000 liters capacity are supplied, manufactured according to the strictest food quality standards.

All the valves are supplied to carry out the different loading and unloading combinations for each tank, including cleaning them, as well as pumping the product to various consumption points once it has matured. In total approximately 400 valves of different classes are supplied.

TECHNICAL CONSIDERATIONS

The correct cleaning of the installation is one of the biggest challenges that we face in this project.

Ice creams are very prone to being contaminated, so it is always necessary to ensure proper disinfection of all material in contact with the product. The engineering team carried out a hygienic design of all the elements of the installation, avoiding any deadlock, siphon, or areas of possible contamination.

Since the maturation room had a very limited space, a correct 3-dimensional CAD design was essential.

Another challenge we faced was integrating the extension of the maturation room into the existing SCADA, without it going off-line at any time

REQUIREMENTS

Extension of the ripening capacity of 114,000 liters.

The customer had the need to increase its ice cream production capacity. It was necessary to increase the ice cream maturation capacity by 114,000 liters divided into 8 tanks of 12,000 and 6 tanks of 3,000 liters.

The increase in capacity had to be carried out with the maximum guarantees of food safety and with optimum performance.
