Construction of a factory to make carrot puree.

The puree processing line had to be fully automatic, with the aim of producing a quantity of 50 tons of packed puree per day.

TECHNICAL CONSIDERATIONS

Initially, it is required to carry out the civil works of the newly built warehouse.

Realization and calculation of the factory services, steam, cold water, mains water, compressed air and electricity.

Complete layout of the factory, with the necessary machinery for, from the unloading of harvested carrots from trucks and the obtaining of encases with carrot puree.

Complete flow charts, both for services and products for the entire factory.

Supply and manufacture of part of the machinery necessary for the project in our workshops in Spain.

Design, calculation and manufacture of tanks, belt conveyors and buckets.

Design, calculation and manufacture of a PASTEURIZER for carrot puree, multistage tube casing type.

Coordination with the different suppliers and manufacturers of other machinery (STERILIZER, DECANTER, EVAPORATOR, STEAM PEELING LINE, SHREDDER)

Commissioning of aseptic filling machine.

Commissioning and coordination of end of line machines and PACKAGING (PALLETIZER)

Complete line of centralized CIP for the factory, with different cleaning of different products, using a valve manifolds.

Technological assistance, for rheological adjustments of the product.

Electrical installation and programming of the complete line. Automation of all elements.

REQUIREMENTS

The aim of the project was to supply a complete carrot processing line.

For this, trucks of carrots were unloaded, which are continuously processed, to obtain a carrot puree intended for children’s consumption.

VALUE-ADDED PROPOSITION AND SOLUTIONS

One of the most difficult challenges we faced was the large scale of the project, in an international environment, with the cultural differences and work methodologies that this entails.

Coordination between the different suppliers from different countries was essential to meet the expected delivery date of the project.

The planning and execution from the project management office was a challenge, which we managed to overcome with professionalism and efficiency.
